Scarborough, Ontario Speed Traps
Pharmacy Rd. N. of Lawrence
Travelling Southbound on Pharmacy as you are approaching Lawrence, there is a bridge you have to go over which is also a hill just before Lawrence. There is almost ALWAYS a cop sitting at the bottom of the hill. They pin tons of people. The posted speed limit is 50, although almost everyone thinks it’s 60. They are usually there during AM rush hour, but I have seen them there mid-day as well.
Tapscott
Cops hang out on Tapscott, south of Finch in the Industrial area during the day and on Weekends. Just don’t speed on Tapscott!
They also hang out on Tapscott north of Finch as well (North of the railway tracks across from the Ambulance station.)
Brimley Road between McNicoll Rd and Steeles Ave
This may be a new trap as i’ve only seen this a couple of times recently and I’ve lived here for 15 years. But going Southbound on Brimley past Port Royal Trail and before McNicoll there was a cruiser hidden behind trees and the cop pulling cars over.
Bellamy just south of Lawrence
You’ll basically see those coppers on the left in the church parking lot on the top of the hill when heading south on bellamy before you hit the bridge. Notice they sometimes will be on the left when coming up the hill and one officer lives to the right before the first cross walk.
Victoria Park & St. Clair
There are photo radars setup at the intersection, if you run a red or if you’re speeding, you’ll be on picture. At night time just look for the FLASH and SMILE! I’ve seen the flash myself.
