Bayview Avenue near Lawrence Avenue
LIDAR is used on the Bridge between Cresent School and the exit to Lawrence Ave. This is common becuase it is VERY easy to speed because it is sloped downhill. Any time of day, take an extra 10 seconds out of your day to prevent yourself from getting a speeding ticket.
Danforth Road near Railway Bridge
Radar is fully hidden on the west side of Railway underpass as you travel from the East. Speed limit changes from 60 kph to 50kph just east of the bridge a perfect setup! Locals are now wary and you will see them slow down
Yonge Street near Cummer Avenue
Police sit in the Toronto Hydro parking lot on the west side of Yonge heading southbound just past Cummer, tagging motorists in a 50 k/m zone. Usually just in the mornings during rush hour.
Allen Road near Lawrence Avenue
They hide under the overpass near Lawrence Ave. on Allen Rd with their laser/radar gun. Then they step out into traffic and pull you over. This is Allen Rd southbound. They love weekends (AM) and some AM rush hour. They also have a lot of quotas to fill and pressure their police force to hand out tickets.
Bayview Avenue
Tripod-mounted radar on EAST side of Bayview Ave, at Crescent School, just north of Lawrence Avenue bridge, catching northbound traffic going UPHILL.
Also on WEST side of Bayview Ave, immediately before Lawrence Ave bridge, catching southbound traffic coming downhill from bend which obscures view of trap until it’s too late.
