Toronto, Ontario Speed Traps
Falstaff Ave westbound east of Culford
Toronto Police sit in private driveway on north side of Falstaff opposite Norcross Dr. Speed is 40K but it’s not a school zone. Road is downhill westbound. All other local streets have "Traffic Calming" forcing motorists onto Falstaff. Definitely the work of NIMBYs!
Jane street and Weston Road – Southbound
Coming over the bridge southbound, north of Weston Road, cops waiting in the little alleyway parallel to Jane (that wraps around under the bridge), close to the the shoppers drug mart plaza. Speed limit 50km/h. Saw 6 cars pulled over in 6 minutes (including me). No leniency.
York Mills (Wilson Ave,) and Yonge St
At the bridge before and west of Yonge St at the bottom of the hill.
I have not seen a speed trap there in years. A very sneaky spot as this is a steep hill
Broadview Avenue between Danforth and Gerrard
Going south on Broadview beside the park. The street curves and you never see them.
Runnymede rd North of Colbeck st
This speed trap sits across the street from Runnymede Public School on the west side
