Toronto, Ontario Speed Traps
Lakeshore Boulevard near Ontario Place
Driving eastbound on Lakeshore Blvd just before the Lakeshore/Strachan intersection. There’s a bend in the road as you pass the CNE on your left and approach the Ontario Place overpass toward Strachan there will be a police officer behind a tripod on the south side of the street and waiting in the Ontario Place parking lot are police cars to pull you over. I’ve seen them there every second day or so for the past 4 months, almost always someone is pulled over. Limit is 60.
Avenue Road near Lawrence Avenue
Just across from Pusateris Fine Foods. The cops also move a little further south (just north of Lawrence). They shoot hand-held radar at southbound traffic.
Bayview Avenue near Cummer Road
Its an uphill when you pass the Steeles and Bayview intersection, heading southbound on Bayview. Just as you pass the next traffic light there is always a cop hidden in one of the side residential street, before Cummer, radaring and pulling motorists over.
Eglinton Avenue near DonMills Road
North side of Eglinton under the bridge approaching Don Mills. They bust anyone coming West bound down into a little valley. They hide really well under the bridge. Daily!
Ossington Avenue near Dundas Avenue
Speed traps are behind the school fence on the right is your going South on Ossington Ave.
