Eglinton Avenue near Leslie Street
Speed trap is on Eglinton Ave E. just East of Leslie but West of the railway bridge. There is a lefthand turn lane where the police cars are parked and when you are driving westbound you cannot see them because part of the railway bridge hampers your view until its to late.
Allen Road near Yorkdale Exit
On Allen Road southbound just south of the Yorkdale Exit there is a blind curve to the right. Radar units sit on the right hand side, just out of site until it is too late. Drivers routinely drive up to 40 km. per hr. over the posted speed limit without jeopardizing control.
Steeles Avenue near Jane Street
When approaching Jane on Steeles, there is a long straightaway from Keele all the way (opposite York University) People go way too fast and the cops sit and wait at the bottom of the hill in the entrance for UPS and get anyone coming down the hill.
Gerrard Street near Don River Bridge
East bound on Gerrard Street is 50kph. There is a hard to see sign about mid-way on the bridge reading 40kph. There are from 1 to 3 police cars parked in the Hydro sub-station driveway East side of the bridge. From about 3pm to about 6:30pm. Neighbour counted 85 pull-overs before his supper
Steeles Avenue near Keele Street
They sit in the parking lot just east of Keele street, immediatly after the bridge and pull over anyone who’s doing even 5km over the posted limit.
