Toronto, OntarioAug 14, 20030 Comments

Enforcing speeds in a school zone. Posted is 40Km/h. They usually sit on the West side of Jane directly across from the large school (St. Pius X) on the East side and park on the side street. They are somewhat difficult to see when travelling Southbound on Jane so watch out.

Danfourth Ave East Just before Pape

Toronto, OntarioAug 05, 20030 Comments

As you are heading east on Bloor before it becomes Danfourth Ave, you will most likely be speeding on the bridge, when you see a school on your right before the Pizza Pizza, you’ll notice a guy in full uniform waving you to pull in so he can write you a big ass fine, i know first hand, and if you think that since he is occupied you can fly yourself, guess again, his buddies will start the clocking you next……..be careful……sometimes they are there all day……..

Richmond St. – Off Ramp From DVP – Onto Richomnd St.

Toronto, OntarioAug 05, 20030 Comments

Toronto Police will Set-up at the bottom of the off ramp, on either side of Richmond St., with Radar Guns on tripods, or hand-held Laser Guns. Coming off the ramp, the two sides of Richmond St. are covered by trees, so you can’t see the side-walk till you’re at the bottom. By that time it’s too late! Posted speed limit is 50kms, but you are usually at around 80kms coming off the DVP. Watch for Police on both sides of Richmond St. as it’s a One-Way street. They are usually by the used car dealership on the left or the Shell station on the right.

Bloor / Danforth Bridge

Toronto, OntarioAug 02, 20030 Comments

Travelling eastbound just at the end of the bridge before the DVP north on-ramp (Broadview Avenue). Several Police cars are set up in the driveway to the Adult Learning Center with one officer standing with a tri-pod mounted radar/laser. Have seen them almost every Sunday morning for the past few months.
Speed limit is 50kph and it’s really easy to go too fast!
