Toronto, Ontario Speed Traps
Steeles avenue East, west of Leslie
Cops stand under the railway bridge crossing Steeles avenue East just west of Leslie str. The speed limit is 60 km/h, however it is very easy to get up to 80 there. They tolerate people going 70 km/h I believe.
Yonge St. southbound of Steeles
These guys are hiding in the Funeral home from 5am onward. A little more speed than posted and they will do you..guaranteed!
Yonge Street and Mount Pleasant Cemetary
Police set up tripod in the valley between Davisville and St Clair Ave. They usually hide among the long line of parked cars on either side of Yonge in the Mount Pleasant Cemetary area. It can be going North or South, any time of day. Multiple cars or just one. A keen eye is needed to spot the tripod either on the road or on the grass next to the road. If you feel like racing the subway along this stretch, keep your eyes open.
Eastern coming off the dvp @ the Richmond St Exit, just past that
Eastern coming off the dvp richmond st exit, when you go down eastern instead of richmond, just after the bridge there is a small street there on the right hand side. They will trap you there as you come over the hill. Reduce your speed immediatley as the speed limit on eastern is 50. Many people speed up to catch the green light at the bottom…DON’T DO IT!!!
