Windsor, Ontario Speed Traps
Banwell Road near E.C. Row Expressway
On the North side of EC Row the road is heavily patrolled by Windsor Police, usually in unmarked traffic cars. On the South side road is heavily patrolled.
E.C. Row Expressway near Central Ave. Overpass
Usually cop with radar setup is standing under overpass and hiding behind bridge pillars. It seems that they only trap east bound traffic on E.C. Row as 3 or 4 cop cars will be waiting on the east bound entrance ramp, waiting for signal from radar cop to nab you….It is quite common so slow down or pay.
New Lauzon Road near Train tracks crossing
They are usually(not too often) parked just by the train tracks just behind some little building so you cant see them. They are on right side of road going from Riverside towards EC Row. Speedlimit is 60, people go 80-100km/h.
Lauzon Road near Little River Road
Sometimes I see them in one of the plazas on the lauzon rd, just before you merge on to the new Lauzon going towards Tecumseh rd. They are on right side of the road and it’s either f-150 or regular cop cruiser. Speed limit is 50 and people usually go 70-80km/h
Crawford Avenue near Techumseh Road
In between Wyandotte and Techumseh Road the Police patrol this area diligently. They use an unmarked, Chevy Avalanche, and hide it among any of the used car dealerships on that stretch of Crawford. The posted speed limit is 50 Km/h however most drivers easily go 75 – 85 km/h. Whatch out for the blu Chevy Avalanche.
