Knoxville, Tennessee Speed Traps
Loves Creek Road
All along Loves Creek Road, the KPD sets up in several sports.
Between Dutch Town Road and Cedar Bluff Road on Sherrill LN.
This stretch of road is set at 40mph.. There is nothing on this 4 lane.. Cedar Bluff Road is 45mph. With everything on that road..
I-75 South at Emory Rd. Exit
Many people already know that KPD and unmarked vehicles sit at the bottom of the hill and the straightaway and clock cars going south. I have actually noticed that police cars are sitting in the Lighthouse Church parking lot that is on the right side of the road just before the Emory Rd. Exit, possibly clocking speeds from the hill. I believe that I was actually a victim to this once and an unmarked car was waiting at the bottom of the hill for me. It’s easy to go fast down the hill, limit is 55 mph, be careful.
I-40 1-640 1-75 1-275

McKamey Road
they run radar all the time , but people fly on this wide road, Speed limit is 30 . They need to stay on Cecil Johnson Road too, its a small road that people walk on , dogs and kids too and people fly there to , they go across and around the curves on the wrong side all the time … very dangerous
