Metro police, usually on motorcycles, regularly work in pairs on the stretch of Briley Parkway north of town between the Gallatin Road exit and the Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills Mall. Now that the construction is done and there are about 5 lanes each way, motorists are tempted to violate the 55 MPH speed limit.
