College Station, Texas Speed Traps
Southwest Parkway, near street entrance to Bee Creek and Lemontree parks
Jokingly called “Speedtrap Baptist Church””– police car often sits on a dirt road between entrance to Lemontree park and a small Baptist church. Usually see them hanging out there at least 2 times per week catching people speeding down Southwest Parkway toward Texas Avenue.”
University and Texas
These guys , come out close to the end of the month trying to make there quota on innocent collge students. I always see them pulling over african americans because the city is white. But if you have a ku band radar detector you can know there their before you see them. May these guys know what comes around goes around.
Texas Ave. in front of campus golf course
Motorcycle cop resembling T 1000 waits in the dark under the trees on the golf course … can’t see him at all!
Dexter: between George Bush Dr. and Holleman
This somewhat twisty and hilly section of road has a poorly labeled 25 mph speed zone before flattening out and resuming to 30 mph closer to Holleman. A motorcycle cop frequently positions himself on the cross street, Thomas, such that he is difficult to spot when driving up the hill. There’s a school and lots of kids in the area so slowing down is advisable.
