Fort Worth, Texas Speed Traps
Hulen Street near Wrigley Way
As you go down hill on Hulen, right after you cross over Altamesa, there are motorcycle cops hiding on the many side streets, especially in the school zone. 2 or 3 of them are there at least 3 times a week. They are there even when there are no children to be found. It seems they will stop you for 1 or 2 miles an hour over the 20mph limit.
Camp Bowie Boulevard near 183/SW Blvd–Traffic Circle
Motorcycle officer shoots traffic from old Levitz Furniture parking lot right next to Nayfa’s Unfinished Furniture close to the street as people come off the traffic circle onto Camp Bowie going eastbound. No idea how regularly, but I got popped there in November ’06.

The 3800 blk. Of Hemphill st the speed limit is 40 mph
just south of Bidison
Altamesa Boulevard near West of 35
The tops of the hills on altamesa are 45mph the bottoms are 35. The signs are posted but they wait for you to speed up going down the hill and at the very bottom of the hill sit right beside the 35mph sign.
Byrant Irvin Road near US Highway 183
Several units will sit in unfinished road pocket by light @ BI and River Park, stand in the street & shoot radar, motion for you if they tag you. Or, they will sit in Lockheed Martin turn-around doing the same. Will hit after work traffic too. They tend to do for a week or so, take off a few, then back again.
