Interstate 30 near Beach Street
An officer is operating the radar/laser on the Beach Street bridge which passes over I-30 westbound, hiding behind traffic signs mounted on the bridge span. A dozen motorcycle cops are lined up on the on ramp from Beach Street, ready to pounce on his command.
Trinity Boulevard near Bell Helicopter
All the way down Trinity Blvd from East Loop 820 across to 360 trinity Blvd has a crazy amount of cops on it. I see them at least every other time I am on that road. The speed limit is mostly 40 mph. Dont go over 47 or 48 in my opinion. I dont think the cops are that scrict here, but they are always here.
Trinity Boulevard near Between Precinct Line and Higway 157
This stretch of road is six-lanes and the the speed limit is 40 mph. FWPD likes to sit in the median near the TRE train bridge. The speed limit needs to be increased to at least 50 mph (it once was when the road opened up).
Interstate 820 near Interstate 30
Can anticipate almost daily; waiting underneath the bridge of I-30 passing overhead observing AM-rush hour traffic heading North bound. Typically in the same spot in the late afternoon, but on the South bound side observing PM-rush hour traffic. Target individuals driving 10+ over the posted speed limit (60MPH). You can expect two patrols being present during the PM-rush hour towards the end of the month, monitoring both North and South bound traffic.
