Fort Worth, Texas Speed Traps
Loop 820
When going east on Loop 820 crossing the Lake Worth Bridge it curves a bit coming off the bridge and off to the shoulder is a charger sitting behind the trees. You can see him until you are right on him.
S. University Drive
On S. University Drive, near the intersections of Benbrook Blvd. and Devitt St., 1 or 2 police are strategically located on motorcycles. Every time I have driven near here recently I’ve seen them catch someone – be careful!
Jim Wright Fwy NW & NW Loop 820 Service Road E
Cops will sit at the end of the straight-away and again just over the hill on the Frontage road heading West towards the Marine Creek Estates development. They have nailed tons of folks. The speed limit is 40 mph, people frequently travel 60+ as it’s a very straight long 1-2 mile frontage road with no exits/entrances. Beware!!
I-20 & S Hulen St
White line patrol at Hulen exit off I-20. The sign noting to not cross double white line is very small and faded. About 3 motorcycle patrol work this about 2-3 days a week. The double line should be enforced but the notification needs to be more prominent.
Trinity Boulevard
Between 157 (Collins St.) and Hwy 360 has a traffic cop that has been known to write a ticket for going even 5 miles over the posted limit of 40mph. My husband received one for going 48 on the hill right by Upper Deck.
