Southfork Road near State Highway 288
Southfork between CR-89 and TX-788. Sherrif Deputies heavily patrol this road especially during rush hours and hide around corners and low-foliage trees. Speed limit is 30mph for a 4-lane divided road- about 15mph lower than most traffic drives.
Brookside Road near Cullen Boulevard
Speed limit on Brookside is 30 mph, very low for a country road in a city known for its 50 mph speed limits (Cullen is 55 mph in the same area with heavier traffic). Motorcycle officers hide behind a fence at a boat repair shop. Often two motorists are stopped at once. I’ve never been caught, but I can understand why those who do would be upset.
Pearland Parkway near Barry Rose Road
There may be two to three pearland’s finest working these roads pretty much all day. Watch it, the road’s speed limit is marked way under the rest of pearland’s 50mph roads.
