This is more of a ROAD BLOCK. They will place a narcodics Road Block. The line goes back to McHard Rd. They check EVERY car.

During the morning a squad car parks way behind the Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse. If you’re heading toward the beltway from FM 518 you can’t see him until it’s too late.

The speed limit is 30 but it could be 40! There is a motorcyle cop that sits behind the church sign and he is just waiting to pull you over! I received a ticket for going 43 in a 30. In reality I was going a little too fast but the speed limit is just too low!

At sign for Rental storage Pearland Police sit out of view. Previously county at 50 mph now city at 30 mph on a County Road. Normal traffic still at 45 – 50 mph, making being passed at 30 mph real unsafe. Then school zone at 25 mph starts with in 200 feet for Challenger Elementary.

This newly opened, 4-lane road between the Tollway feeder road @ 50mph and McHard Road @ 60mph is posted at only 35 mph… well below what you might expect for this open stretch of divided road. A motorcycle officer is often hidden in the trees just beyond your view.
