Plano, Texas Speed Traps

Plano Parkway just west of Preston. Motorcycle cops hang out in the little side drive on the north side of the street and will nab you if you’re speeding at all. Usually in evenings and after dark, when it’s hard to spot them.

4-6 Plano cop cars pulling over more than one car each south of Park and just north of Plano Parkway on the service road headed south. Another Plano speed trap or revenue $$$ operation. You are better off avoiding the service roads in Plano because they are collecting and there will be NO warning. The only thing missing is a credit card machine.

Southbound service road between Spring Creek and Parker Rd. Will sit in the parking lot near Krispy Creme. The spot is right after the exit for Parker Rd. Speed limit is 40 through here.

North bound State Hwy 121 approaching Coit Road (on the way to McKinney) about 1/4 mile before Coit an unmarked (gray or dark blue) police car will sit about 20 feet off of the highway on a paved driveway.

A green, unmarked car sets up traps along Legacy on a regular basis. He is not lenient at all.
