Officers park underneath the entrance ramp heading West/South on 1604 from I-10 right in front of LaCantera mall and prior to LaCantera Parkway. They hide under the entrance ramp and use radar then there are additional police up ahead or on motorcycles that get on the freeway and pull people over. I have seen this at PM rush hour multiple times and in the middle of a weekday

San Antonio, TexasFeb 18, 20080 Comments

An officer on foot stands on the Green Mountain Road bridge going over Loop 1604, pointing a speed gun at traffic. He radios to other officers ahead and gives them the car description so that they can pull them over and ticket them. I have not seen this since I was in Colorado twenty some years ago! I saw several people pulled over just in the time it took me to pass the next exit (which was Nacogdoches road).
