State Route 123 near Interstate 66
Fairfax City Police wait at the city limits line on the side of southbound RT 123 on the curve just beyond the overpass for INT 66 and just before road narrows to 1 lane to merge with off ramp from INT 66 East. Speed limit is 35, but traffic commonly runs 45-50 over the INT 66 overpass as it is a 4-lane divided highway with no apparent reason for the low limit. Keep your eyes peeled as soon as you cross the INT 66 overpass.
