Reston, Virginia Speed Traps

State Trooper hiding under a bridge abuttment on your right, just after you pass the Reston Parkway exit. All you’ll see is his car mounted radar gun sticking out.

I got paced by a Metro (Airport) officer who was on the airport access road. He slipped in behind me from the access road to bust me. Don’t think they won’t do it.

Past Wolf Trap Exit, coming into the Reston area. There is a small bridge that has some bushes obscuring the left far side of it. I have seen cops wedge the back end of their cruisers into the bushes and become virtually invisible until you get right up on them, by that time, they have you. This bridge is right after you pass to the Hunter Mill Rd. Exit. They sit on the left side.
Rte 606 – Baron Cameron Rd.
Limit of 45 is below safe traffic speeds on this limited access, straight, 4 lane, divided highway. Police tend to sit along shoulders near the bottom of the hills between Wiehle Ave. and Lake Fairfax Dr. It is hard to keep a car at 45 on those hills and they know it.
