Simi Valley, California Speed Traps
Stearns, Tapo Canyon, Sycamore, Erringer Road near Interstate 118
Our fair police follow motorists getting off the freeway late at night for years, no, decades. They are looking for any signs of intoxication or "erratic" driving i.e. doing their jobs. They even pulled my gray haired, one beer a year, sweet dad over when I was in school, on our way home from the Drive-In in our Pinto station wagon because he drove around a speed hump so as not to startle my mom with the heart condition. They took out the speed bump. My friend and I were pulled over one night and it scared her. I worked at the SVPD in High school, and even I used to get off the freeway and immediately drive over to one of the non-freeway N-S streets, where they weren’t lurking, cause I didn’t want to be bothered that late. I get cranky when I am tired….But, if you drink and drive, I hope they lock you up. But, if you have old reg. tags, hide baby, hide.
