Aurora, Colorado Speed Traps
6th Avenue near Airport/Buckley Roads
The same motorcycle cops who sit at Colfax/Airport switch up their location and sit in the stretch ‘Southbound’ Airport Rd. hiding next to fences on the Westside of the street, they cannot be seen at all due to them parking on the sidestreet and poking their heads w/ Laser gun just a bit out the side of the fences that line the strip.
Going Southbound on Airport the fences are on the westside of the street, they sit behind them and catch people all day.
Airport Road near Smith Road
The police cruiser sits behind a large sign on the eastside of the street, while travelling Northbound after crossing Colfax Avenue at the bottom of the hill there is a warehouse/industrial sign on the right side of the street, the cruiser sits behind this sign with no lights and you cannot see the car until you have passed the sign = too late.
Interstate 225 near Colfax Avenue
Just after Colfax, at the top of the on ramp going Northbound, I see a cop regularly parked on the side of the road catching people coming over the hill in the left lane.
Havana Street near 6th Avenue
Going North on Havana just South of 6th Ave. (Maybe 2nd Ave.)Unmarked Police Car sit in the Enterprise Car Dealership waiting to catch someone. If you are heading North, You are driving on the side of the road where Enterprise is located, but you won’t notice that its a police car because A) its unmarked and B) its a dealership full of cars. Going South on Havana, you won’t notice at all, but I don’t think the cop will bother you, because Havana is a big street to cross over to the South Bound Lanes. Be Careful.
Quincy Avenue near Tower
officer sits on north side of road between tower & buckley at bottom of hill below reservoir.
