Colorado Springs, Colorado Speed Traps

There is an undercover cop car that sits on the side street where they are building those new townhomes and they have the radar gun and there are usually 2 cops in the car.

I had turned onto Astrozon from Powers headed west towards Academy. Just about 2 blocks east of Faulkner, a motorcycle cop had a car pulled over and I looked down at my speedometer-40mph. I ‘thought’ the speed limit was 35mph, and when I looked back up a motorcycle cop had got me at the very next block. I was doing 41mph and the speed limit was 30mph. The officer told me that there were 4 officers working a 4 block radius, due to extreme speeding violators in that area. This happened at appx. 10:10 am. He was a very nice officer and showed me the radar gun with out being asked. So ‘Southbourough’ watch out!

trap is set at these roads right next to the elementary school whew. as on this streach of highway.. Be aware! there is the ppcc , state troopers,city and county patrol these roads.. what a speed trap!in colorado springs

they have marked,unmarked and motorcycle cops that sit behind a 4-plex if you are going north towards coronado high school in the parking lot of mountain shadows apts.They also sit on the southside of the 4-plex going downhill the posted speed is 35 mph.I recieved a $200.00 ticket so watch your speeds.

speed trap going north on 1-25 at tejon exit..very interesting..i didnt know that..motorcycle cops.. especially on cheyenne mountian blvd and venetucci blvd..ugh state patrol offices and city patrol also..
