San Jose Blvd Boulevard near Peachtree Circle
Thy use cars and motorcycles starting 1/4 mile north of the University Blvd intersection down San Jose/Hendricks Ave to Emerson Street. They hang out on both sides of the cemetery on the south end and at the funeral home on the north end. The speed limit going north of University Blvd drops to 40mph, but the average traffic flow going north and south runs 50 to 55mph.
State Highway 95 near Exit Number 339
Travelling North on 95, approaching exit 339 (Phillips Highway), just as you come over the rise, there were 2 motorcycle cops in the median of the highway. One using Lidar, one using Radar (Ka band) verified visually & by Valentine One Radar Detector. Common siting near the end of the month. Speed Limit in this area is 70mph. Motorists commonly travel at around 80 mph.
Southside Boulevard near Baymeadows Road
Travelling North on Southside. Running Ka band radar during morning traffic. JSO marked police car. Common site near the end of each month, and made a visual siting today confirmed by radar detector.
Have noticed the JSO will cruise Southside in both marked & unmarked cars running radar (& sometimes from the side of the road running Lidar), esp. near the end of the month.
University North Boulevard near Arlington Expressway
Major blvd going through residential neighborhoods drops from 45 to 30 MPH coming off a hill at Arlington Expressway
University North Boulevard near Cesery Boulevard
Near the split of University and Cesery Blvds. going in either direction there are motorcycle officers.
