Roosevelt Boulevard near Blanding Boulevard
If you are traveling southbound on US17 (Roosevelt Blvd.) near FCCJ south campus, you will drive under an overpass (Blanding Blvd.)Right before you get to this overpass, you Must slow down to 45mph. I’ve been working in the area for 6 years now, and the cops are out there constantly in the AM rush hour. I know of people that have gotten pulled over for 5-6mph over the speed limit which is 45mph. Rediculous. They usually switch between motorcycle cops and unmarked impalas. They sit next to the railroad tracks just as you go under the overpass. The also switch it up sometimes and setup motorcycle cops in the median just beyond the overpass. (Jacksonville – Duval County)

Airport Road near Interstate 95
Coming from the airport to I95, in the median between the bridge and the light, they hide behind the trees and jump out to ping you. They sit there with a tripod and a couple cars. You can’t see them until it’s too late. It’s a 45mph area but you can easily go 55+ on the flat stretch.

US Highway Phillips near JTB Boulevard
About once a week JSO puts up a speed trap with tripods on the side of the road and several cop cars to chase people down. Between University and JTB on Phillips. Usually this is on my way home around 5:00pm – 5:30pm or so.
