I go to work at 3:30A and have seen LVMPD motorcycle units setting up radar just east of the Lodge at Cactus and west of Valley View. It is 35mph thru there and people FLY past me every morning.

when you turn onto alta dr off of hualapai [eastbound toward the suncoast casino] the speed limit drops to 35 and motorcycle cops sit at the entrance of a gated community on your right, and issue tickets. i have seen them at all times of the day and night. be wary.

For the Las Vegas visitor, every Friday afternoon until about 6 at night the overpass for Saint Rose Parkway will have a State Trooper standing on the overpass clocking vehicles as they come down the hill into Vegas when they are approaching the exit for Saint Rose Parkway. On the other side of the overpass sitting on the on ramp from Saint Rose Parkway onto I-15 north bound will be approximately 15 plus State Troopers on motorcycles waiting the call from the officer on the overpass. Be caefull here because the speed limit isnt fast and people like to speed into Vegas.

This short eastbound stretch is a 35 mph zone (should be 45 mph) and a motorcycle officer sits with a radar gun hidden at the Silverado Ranch Blvd. entrance to the South Point Casino catching speeders going eastbound. He is there 2 or 3 times a week.

10+ cops using radar and hiding around the curves and hills. Speed limit is only 55MPH on this remote 4 lane highway and drops to 45MPH at Durango Dr. It’s down hill from Hualapai Way curve so watch speed. They are giving tickets for 5 miles over posted speed limit.
