Cawthra Road near Dundas Street
Traveling southbound on Cawthra just south of Dundas there is a subway under a railway bridge. The decline is quite steep and it is usually necessary to brake softly to keep the car under the speed limit. As you emerge under the bridge and start up the hill on the other side, there is a business with a trailer sign and parked cars that provide good cover for the officer(s) just at the crest of the hill. Although unfair, this set up has the ticket equivalent income of a toll road for the officer.
Brittania Road near Ardsley Road
West bound traffic merges from 4 to 2 lanes just after bridge. Many motorists speed up a little to secure a better merge position. At the top of the hill a patrol officer usually stations himself on foot.
