Mississauga, Ontario Speed Traps
Kamato Rd, East of Tomkin
Police car often sitting in parking lot on South side of Kamato just at the bottom of the hill accross for Garland factory
Cawthra (under Dundas overpass)
Cops stand at top of underpass (going south towards QEW) with radar gun. Most people don’t reduce speed under the overpass so they get tagged as they come up.
Ridgeway Drive between Burnhamthorpe and Collegeway
Wide open street – usually not busy. A good place to get up speed. Cops hide a bit north of Collegeway in a driveway and shoot radar northbound and southbound. Cruisers are positioned nearby.
Not out there every day, but once or twice a week.
Tenth Line West by Millers Grove.
They sit in courts just north of Millers Grove and get you going north or south. The radar runs about four times a week. Usually at the high traffic times.
Cawthra, South of South Service Rd., east side
Police hide cruisers in the driveway to the "Cawthra Estate" house and one cop stands on the sidewalk, behind trees and bushes with a radar gun aiming south bound, catching cars going north towards the QEW. Speed limit is 50 km/h, but should probably be 70 km/h, and most people are going 70 km/h. SO MANY GET PULLED OVER.
