Toronto, Ontario Speed Traps

at the top of the hill going south on allen road, just past finch, there is a church. they hide in the church and ticket people for 1/ speeding and 2/ being in the car pool lane. usually 1/. same thing going northbound on allen just past sheppard.

Cruiser sits on east side of Lansdowne, just north of the underpass, south of Dundas. Usually has a speed gun set up on a tripod. Speed limit is 40kph, but due to the hill that goes down under the tracks, it is very easy to exceed that.

Right after the public school on Keele street going south toward Bloor St. three or four cars set up at the bottom of the hill from 0800-1000h to catch you when the speed limit is reduced to 40km/h for the kiddies (usually 50). It is not unusual for the flow to be going about 60 so if you end up in front be careful, they have no problem pulling over 2-3 at a time

When you come off the 400 or the 401 and are travelling south on Blackcreek between the Jane exit just after the bridge before you get to Lawrence they are always there. Especially in the summer or on warmer days. The speed limit there is 70kms not hard to do but it goes from 80 to 70 and just after the sign posting for 70kms the cops are waiting there.

Bayview is downhill from Cummer to Steeles (heading north). The speed traps are located on both sides of Bayview in between these two streets. The speed limit is 50 and you get a ticket for anything over 60.
