Toronto, Ontario Speed Traps
any street near Any Street
Toronto police dept now have the Spectre RDD (radar detector-detector) to nab unsuspecting radar detector users. One way around this, use a Bel STi rd. Zero leakage for the Spectre to pick up.
Warden Avenue near North of Eglington East
Heading south on Warden just North of Eglinton East.
Usually there on Saturdays and Sundays to catch all the folks as they go to, and return for the high concentration of power centres nearby.
Scarlett Road near East Drive
Northbound on Scarlett Rd. coming down quite a steep hill at Smythe Park. You must brake the entire time so as to not exceed the posted speed limit.
Islington Street
Coming North on Islington just past Bergamot, which I believe is a 40 street, there is always a speed trap right at the cross lights at Golfdown. They like to nab people coming North.
These guys are notorious, watch out while coming over the hill, they are hard to spot.
Eglinton East Road near Don Valley Parkway
Located just east of the Don Valley Parkway exit. I was caught right under the bridge if you’re heading east on Eglinton from the Don Valley Parkway. Be careful, the traffic moves pretty fast over there, typically above the 60 km/h posted speed limit.
