Toronto, Ontario Speed Traps
Don Mills Road near Don Mills Road
Eastbound on Eglinton between Leslie and Don
Mills Road. Police with radar gun on the right hand side of Eglinton (south side)just before you arrive at the Don Mills intersection. Tricky, because you’ve probably just passed the trap on the westbound side at the bottom of the hill and are not expecting another on your side.
Bathurst Street near St. Clair Avenue
You will see them if you are going south on Bathurst toward St. Clair. As soon as you cross the bridge, they are right there. Late at night they are on the other side of the bridge waiting for you.
Dupont and Christie Streets Crossing near Just North of Dupont
This trap is just north of Christie and Dupont listed as 40km. Constant Radar and Cop cars hiding on side streets. Radar point northbound just as you come under the bridge. Southbound tucked in on Hector Ave or Carus Ave.
Eglinton Avenue near Ontario Science Centre
Eastbound just after the railway underpass. They hide off to the side in some bushes past the Celestica access road on the Science Centre property.
Bloor/Danforth Street near Bloor Viaduct
Eastbound on Bloor St., over the ‘Prince Edward’ Viaduct towards Danforth Ave. As you approach the Don Valley PKWY Northbound onramp several police officers flag motorists over as they come over the bridge. With 3 lanes of traffic, and people trying to jockey for position to get onto the highway, it is easy to exceed the 50km/h speed limit. There is a parking lot just after the bridge, so they flag multiple cars over at once.
